Andrea Benson Richard spent her childhood in Valdosta, Georgia. Her appreciation for the natural beauty surrounding her began at an early age while on numerous fishing trips to nearby rivers and lakes with her father, an avid fisherman.
After thirty plus years in Nashville, Tennessee and a successful career in fundraising with a national health organization, she returned to the area in 1999. This time the destination was Destin, Florida. As her fascination for the coastal wildlife and scenery grew, she turned to photography as a way to capture the images she found so delightful.
